FOSTERING QUALITY EDUCATION
Unlocking the full potential of Filipinos and raising the standard: How quality education can elevate the Philippines.
For the past few years Philippines has been considered a diverse country, having been colonized by numerous nations. Education has always been viewed as essential. A good quality of education is essential for a person to live a fulfilling
life, achieve their goals, and contribute to the communities.
However, achieving quality education comes with obstacles. For me one of the major obstacles is the 1q2 of resources, including classrooms that are over populated and limited access to technology. Despite the the dedication that our teachers have provided us, they are often overburdened with too many students, making it hard to give personalized attention. Students on the other hand can also experience struggles through lack of proper learning materials, especially in subjects that are hands-on that requires materials,Where sources are necessary.
These challenges hinder the overall learning of a student, limiting oportunities for students to develope essential skills. Moreover, the pressure to perform well on exams often shifts the focus from learning to memorization, leaving students stifle creativity and critical thinking.
A quality education has a significant and positive impact on societal development. It increases the likelihood that kids will grow into responsible adults who make a valuable impact to their communities. For instance, in my neighborhood where I live, education has a significant impact on families financial prospects since hardworking children frequently go on to further their education or acquire vocational trainings, which opens up a great work options, especially outside the country. Globally speaking, nations with quality education frequently find faster rates of social advancement, which also help lessen inequality and promote social cohesiveness.
In recent years, the quality of education has been greatly impacted by growing numbers of technologies. Especially in pandemic days, were in all of us transitioned to online classes, during that time learning has been more accessible thanks to digital instruments like Google meet, Google class room, Zoom, etc. Which have become the holy grail of education, especially during challenging times. These tools have brought new methods of material engagement and allowed us students to continue our education despite the growing numbers of Covid19. For instance, it made simplier to work together on projects, obtain imformation, and acquire digital literacy which is critical in todays fast paced world. However, there could be negative aspects as well including the gap between individuals and communities who have access to modern ICT ( Information and communication. Despite the availability of technology among students, it could worsen socioeconomic divides because students from low income will struggle to keep up.
To summarize everything, fostering high quality education is important for both individual and society development. Despite the obstacles like limited resources, over populated classrooms, and unequal access to technology. Investing in the development of education systems can have a positive impact on peoples lives as well as the communities where they live. As Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” A high quality education prepares students for success both academic and demands of their future chosen careers.
